SUSTAINABLE ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2017-2021
The "Sustainable Artist of the Year" scholarship was established in 2017 by Grammis and Oatly to recognize and encourage artists who, in various ways, use their creativity and public voice to shed light on and influence climate and environmental issues. The scholarship hopefully aims to increase awareness about the state of our planet and inspire more people to live in a more sustainable way.
The scholarship amount of 100,000 Swedish kronor was intended to support and facilitate the artist/group in their engagement with environmental and climate issues.
The jury consisted of representatives from Ifpi, Oatly, Luger, the Swedish music industry, Greenpeace and previous scholarship recipients. The jury's work is not influenced by financial interests.
